Apple to get ‘Social’ networking app for iTunes 9

Rumors surrounding iTunes 9 have it that Apple is planning to make a major thrust in social networking. With digital media ready to come up with ‘Social’ application, it is believed that iTunes 9 is heading to enter the world of online communities.
It is being said that the application will be different from iTunes and would work like Yahoo’s One Connect software and will allow you to update Facebook status.
It has, however, yet not been revealed as to whether it will be an iPhone app or one to be used on computer.
With your music integrated into the process, with this application, you will be able to broadcast the music you are listening to.
Apart from that, you will also be able to share your music likings with your friends and broadcast your music status as well.
It will also enable you to share your iTunes library with others.
